Today I'm going to teach you how to reprogram Samsung Galaxy A5.  The main reason why you want to do it is to fix common problems like boot loop, hang up, errors and other software related problems.

As for me I want to reprogram this model because it freeze on Android Logo.  Also I'm getting  weird errors when I boot up the smartphone.  If you are closely following my blog, this was the same smart phone that I unlocked in May 16.

The errors started right after I root the phone and unlocked the phone.  At first it was OK because when I restart the smartphone, I will be ask to press power on and the power will start and show the menu.  After some week the customer go back in my shop with phone hang on Android logo.

Tools you need to prepare:
5310 MicroUsb
Odin 3.07
Samsung Galaxy A5 firmware which can be downloaded at Z3x support files
Drivers

Procedure:

1.  Run Odin 3.07 Software

2.  Put your A5 Samsung into download mode.  To do this you need to press volume (-) + menu button and power button all together.  Your smart phone will ask you to select volume + to go to the download mode.  Press volume +

3. Connect your cellphone to your PC and install the necessary drivers.  You will see a blue bar meaning that your smartphone is detected and ready for reprogramming.

4.  Press PDA button and select the file you download from Z3x Samsung support file.  This is the firmware I downloaded A500FXXU1ANJ9_A500FOLB1ANK1_A500FXXU1ANJ9_HOME.tar.md5

5.  Now press the START button.

6.  Wait until the software finish the process.  You will know the flashing is done if you see the word "PASS" at the top left of Odin software.

7.  You are done.  Let's celebrate!
