Today I'm going to share to you how to fix invalid IMEI in Android. The great thing about this solution is you wouldn't need any gadgets to repair it. This is great for starting out your cellphone repair business when you are on a budget.
Tools: None
Steps:
1. Turn on your android phone with out sim card and select call button. Now type *#*#84666364#*#*
2. Next Select Connectivity from the menu by sliding your touch screen. Now select CDS Information then Radio Information.
3. You will see two choices phone 1 which correspond to your IMEI 1 and phone 2 which is for your IMEI 2
4. Select Phone 1 and type this AT command AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_NUM_HERE" , Then click send. You'll see "msent" that you have successfully send the command.
Note: If you encounter "this command is not allowed in user build" All you have to do is put a space after AT
example: AT +EGMR=1,7,"360333245781234"
5. Do the same in Phone 2 and type AT +EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_NUM_HERE"
example: AT +EGMR=1,7,"360333245784321"
6. Reboot your cellphone by pressing power on and selecting reboot.
7. Check your IMEI by typing *#06#.
8. You are done. Congratulations!
Just by now I have fix Myphone Aqua Rio Jr using this trick.
Hello I just want to update this post :)
Just today I couldn't find CDS information. To solve this problem all you have to do is type *#*#84666364#*#*
Scroll down and look for GPRS menu. Now you have to select 1st PDP and enter new IMEI and click send data. Next click "attached" then follow "deattached". You are done.
Also if your phone support dual sim card all you have to do is to select 2nd PDP and repeat the step you have done in 1st PDP.
I'll update this page If I found new solution.
Kind regards to all!
