Great morning everyone!  Today I'm going to guide you on how to repair your Nokia 5220 if it suddenly hang or auto shutoff due to system malfunction.

Tools needed:
USB cable
Nokia Phonenix Suite
5220 Firmware
USB drivers - Nokia PC suite

In this procedure you can do it from home and you won't need the help of a mobile technician.  Just in case you have a question feel free to comment below.

Step 1.  Download and install Nokia PC suite.  It has all the needed drivers for Nokia 5220

Step 2.  Download and install Nokia Phoenix Suite

Step 3.  Download and install 5220 Firmware.  Note:  Check if the firmware is in the right directory.  It should be at the C:Program files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-411 directory.

Step 4.  Run Nokia Phoenix Suite and follow the pictures below to setup the programming of your cellphone.

























Step 5.  Connect your 5220 using the USB and press power on.  You'll be ask to install the drivers.  The computer will install it for you in Windows 7 otherwise you will have to manually install it to your computer.

Step 6.  Follow the onscreen instructions of Nokia Phoenix Suite.

Step 7.  Wait until it finished and finally disconnect your cellphone from the computer and power it on.





 Congratulations! You have now revived your Nokia 5220 from freezing and auto shut off problem.
