Audio Device On High Definition Audio Bus Fix

Do you have an audio device on high definition audio bus problem from your device manager?  In this post I'm going to share to you how I manage to fix that problem in my computer.

As you know I'm a mobile technician and part of my services is computer repair and software installation. Also I'm in charge for my own computer repair and upgrade.

Last two days I needed to record a video using my webcam.  I have already tested it and I know that there's a problem with my computer.

The thing is, after I record the video using my webcam and my microphone the output video is playing advance to my audio.  The action was done already when I have not mention about it.  I am recording a tutorial video which later I will share here to you just to give you a hint.

Upon checking my device driver I noticed a driver that is not installed.  BTW I'm using a computer running on windows XP.  That device that I'm talking about is the "audio device on high definition audio bus".  As you read and as I have understand this is a problem in the audio driver.  My computer is running using Realtek technology.

So right away I look at the motherboard part number it is Bio-star motherboard A55MC.  I search for it online and found sites ready for download.

First download took me 30 minutes because the file is approximately 300MB. I have a minimum speed of internet connection because I am only subscribe to the lowest subscription fee of internet.

I install the driver hoping that it fix my problem but to my dismay nothing happens.

At first it was a challenge to me because I've been doing this for over 10 years as a mobile and computer technician.  I thought that it was just a wrong driver to installed.

It was morning back then when I tried to fix it, until afternoon and then evening.

It took me a day to download almost 7 different drivers and guess what happens? nothing.  I wasted my whole day searching for the right driver but to no avail.  I'm angry and almost gave up.

The next in the morning I did the same routine.  I search for a compatible audio driver and then install, still that "audio device on high definition audio bus" exist.  I can't fix it.

This time I tried to look for more information about this driver and at last I found a solution another website according to his explanation "audio device on high definition audio bus" is a problem in the display driver not the audio driver.

It also explains that "audio device on high definition audio bus" is an old term for "HDMI audio driver" for display problem.  Now I can repair this problem.

I hope you can now as well.

I immediately search for the display driver, download it and install it.

At last I could now focus on my work and can now proceed to my project.  The real problem was not the audio driver but it was actually the display problem.
