Hi!  today, I'm going to teach you how to repair Myphone b11 duo that has bad configuration in Sim 1.  If you have this problem you won't be able to send text messages because the phone will ask you SMS centre configuration.

Only Sim 2 slot is working.  I would be able to fix this problem by simply reformatting the phone firmware and resetting it to factory default.  I couldn't reset it using the phone reset settings because I don't know the phone security code.  Let's now proceed tool box.

What you need:
Volcano box my short review here by Edwin
Data cable / Com cable
Jig P10C

Procedure:

1.  First you need to determine the CPU of the cellphone.  This the very first you need to do when servicing china phone using volcano software tool.  To do this, all you need to do is power on your cellphone and connect it to your PC.  The computer will detect it and you phone will ask you to change to storage mode.  Simply select "yes" and watch your computer will show some notifications at the right side of your screen corner below.  In this case this is an MTK CPU chip.

2.  Now that we have idea what kind of CPU our phone is running to.  We can now proceed to connect that data cable and the Jig to the Volcano box.  Run the software and select the MTK tab.   Select the info and check box.  Click run.

Sad to say in my box, the phone was not detected.  There's no other way now but to dissamble the cellphone and connect it through rx/tx data communication.

I dissemble the unit connect the rx/tx to the cellphone board.  Set the Volcano software to Mtk auto.  This time I get it right.  I was able to detect and backup the phone firmware.

4.  Now we can proceed to format.   Just check the format box button and click run.  The program will ask for the start and end address.  Don't be confused on what to select.  All you have to do is click the auto button.  Let the volcano box read the phone firmware structure and format it according to software.

5.  Celebrate!  It's time to ask for the service fee and move on to the next cellphone you are going to repair.
